About HelpPet
HelpPet was born in Peru in 2026 with a simple idea: if every person already helping a pet could coordinate with the one next door, thousands of stories would end differently.
Latin America is full of people who rescue, search, care. But they're scattered. A lost pet is searched by its owner, but the neighbor who saw it doesn't know who to alert. A shelter has 40 animals waiting for food, but the donor 2 blocks away never finds out. HelpPet exists to close that gap.
Three flows in one community: (1) report a lost pet in seconds and nearby people get the alert; (2) report a found animal so its family can reach it; (3) register and discover verified shelters that receive direct support.
Every shelter goes through human review before appearing in the app: we confirm via WhatsApp, validate social media, look at their story. It's not automatic and that's on purpose — trust is built one person at a time.
HelpPet is non-profit. Donations shelters receive through the platform go 100% to the shelter — we take no commission. We sustain ourselves with volunteer time and people who directly support the project. If you want to be part of it, write us.
We start in Peru because it's where we are, but the problem is regional. The platform supports Spanish and English, and country by country we'll open shelter verification as the community asks. If your shelter is in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, or anywhere: register anyway, and let's go.

HelpPet no es una empresa anónima. Es un proyecto personal que nació en Tacna y se está expandiendo a Latinoamérica.
Fundador
Ingeniero de software peruano. HelpPet nació de ver el problema de las mascotas perdidas y los albergues con presupuesto limitado, y querer atacarlo con tecnología que la gente realmente use.
