Policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)
At HelpPet we have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) material. Although HelpPet is a platform dedicated to animal rescue and care, anyone can create an account, and that's why we enforce clear child safety standards.
Our commitment
Absolute prohibition
Posting, sharing, or requesting any content that involves the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited. Any account that does so will be suspended immediately.
Legal compliance
We comply with applicable child protection laws and report any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the relevant Peruvian authorities and, when applicable, to international bodies.
Proactive moderation
We have an in-app reporting system that lets any user flag inappropriate content or behavior. Posts that exceed a report threshold are automatically paused for review.
How to report
If you find content that may pose a risk to a minor, you can:
- Use the report button available on every post and profile within the app.
- Contact us directly at jonathan.joan.avila@gmail.com.
Every report is reviewed with priority. When child sexual abuse material is confirmed, we act immediately: we remove the content, suspend the account, and report it to the corresponding authorities.
